Hasmukh Patel said- Gujarat Public Service Commission- GPSC will no longer allow candidates to appear for the competitive recruitment exam in January for eight recruitment advertisements including 18,32, just by filling the form. After such an experiment was successful in the institute for Class-3 recruitments, GPSC Chairman Hasmukh Patel has indicated that he will make arrangements to take consent form from the candidates for the exam in the upcoming competitive recruitment exams as well.
Regarding the upcoming changes in the GPSC examination system, Hasmukh Patel said that once the candidates fill the form and apply, some of them do not appear for the exam. Due to which the burden on resources increases, time is wasted. Therefore, we have introduced a new process of obtaining consent letter from those who have applied for the GPSC State Tax Officer Class-II recruitment examination to appear in the examination. It is worth mentioning that this change will only get candidates who are actually preparing for the competitive examination. The newly appointed Chairman of the Commission, Hasmukh Patel, has fixed the date of 12th January 2025 for the Primary Examination Part-1 for eight recruitments viz. GPSC-ll Advertisement No. 18,19,22,23,30,31 and 32. While the Part-1 examination of 29,34 and 35 has been scheduled for 19th January 2025.
